Taplink alternative and Taplink alternatives for creators who earn from affiliate links
Most pages ranking for a Taplink alternative are written by another link in bio vendor, or they are directory lists with no prices on them. We read Taplink's own pricing page on the day this was written, kept what Taplink publishes apart from what third parties repeat, and asked the one question that decides the switch: does your money come from things you sell yourself, or from commission on things you recommend? Taplink is very cheap and very good at the first. This page is for creators who live on the second.
The short answer
Taplink is one of the cheapest paid link in bio pages you can buy: Basic is free forever, Pro is 3 a month and Business is 6 a month on 12-month billing, and paid plans have a three-month minimum. Business adds a checkout for digital products at a 0% transaction fee, lead forms and a custom domain. None of that reaches affiliate income, because commission is paid by the merchant and never passes through the page. If most of what you earn is commission on tools and gear you recommend, the better Taplink alternative is a storefront that shows which link earned. Favly Pro does that for $288 a year.

| What you want to know | The answer | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Taplink Basic price | Free, forever | OFFICIAL. Basic includes pre-designed themes, unlimited links, text blocks, messaging and social links, maps, page view statistics, shared access and a QR code. |
| Taplink Pro price | 3 a month on 12-month billing | OFFICIAL. Shown as 72 a year struck through to 36 a year, which is the 50% discount Taplink gives for paying 12 months at once. Displayed to us in euros. |
| Taplink Business price | 6 a month on 12-month billing | OFFICIAL. Shown as 144 a year struck through to 72 a year with the same 50% annual discount. |
| Minimum term | Three months | OFFICIAL. Taplink's FAQ asks "Why am I supposed to pay for a minimum of three months?" and says paying 6 or 12 months up front saves 30% or 50%. On the undiscounted rate that is about 6 a month for Pro and 12 for Business. |
| Prices in dollars | $3 and $6 a month quoted | REPORTED. US software listings quote Pro at $3 and Business at $6 a month, which matches the 12-month rate. Taplink shows the currency for your location, so check the page yourself before paying. |
| What Pro adds | Media, click analytics, pixels | OFFICIAL. Professional templates, images, video and music, price lists, custom HTML, social media pixel support, scheduled blocks and click analytics. |
| What Business adds | Checkout, lead forms, custom domain | OFFICIAL. Digital products, accepting payments, application forms, a CRM, automated emails, payment notifications, a countdown timer, branding removal and a custom domain with SSL. |
| Taplink transaction fee | 0% on Business | OFFICIAL. The comparison grid lists a 0% transaction fee against Business. That applies to payments taken through Taplink's own checkout. |
| Does the 0% fee touch affiliate income | No | STRUCTURAL. Affiliate commission is calculated and paid by the merchant's program and never passes through Taplink, so no Taplink fee, 0% or otherwise, applies to it. |
| One plan covers | One Instagram profile | OFFICIAL. FAQ, "One Instagram profile, one rate plan". A creator with several brands pays for each page. |
| Commission per affiliate link | Not listed by Taplink | OFFICIAL, by absence. Taplink lists page views and click analytics. It does not list importing affiliate program reports or matching commission to a link. |
| Favly Pro price | $288 a year ($24 a month billed yearly) | OFFICIAL, favly.com/pricing. No fee on your affiliate commissions on any plan. One free demo storefront to try it first, no card. |
| Earnings per link on Favly | Pro, from your program reports | OFFICIAL, favly.com/pricing. Revenue attribution imports each program's commission report and matches rows to the link that earned them. |
| Selling your own products on Favly | Not a Favly feature | Honest limit. Favly has no product checkout, lead forms or CRM. If your income is orders, bookings or digital downloads, Taplink Business does that for far less money. |
what you are really choosing
A cheap bio page routes clicks. A storefront tells you which click paid.
Taplink grew up as a mini landing page for Instagram sellers: price lists, lead forms, a payment button, a CRM and automated emails, all for a few euros a month. That is a sensible toolkit for a nail studio, a coach or a shop taking orders in DMs. A creator who reviews cameras, AI tools or skincare earns differently. The money is commission paid by somebody else's affiliate program, often days after the click, and the page that sent the click never sees the sale. The price of the page matters far less than knowing which recommendation earned.
What to check before you switch
What a Taplink alternative has to do better for an affiliate creator.
Stop pricing the page and price the income
Taplink wins any contest about the cost of the page itself, and nobody beats 6 a month for a checkout, lead forms and a custom domain. That is the wrong contest for an affiliate creator. Add up last year's income by source. If commission is the biggest pile, the question is which tool helps that pile grow, and a cheaper page cannot do that on its own.
Know which link earned, not which link was clicked
Taplink Pro gives you click analytics, which tells you what people tapped. It cannot tell you what paid, because an affiliate sale is recorded inside the merchant's program, often days later. Commission per link needs each program's report matched back to the link that sent the buyer. That is what tells you which recommendation to move up and which to drop.
Hold software and AI tools as first-class items
A tripod sells once. Many software and AI partner programs pay a share of the subscription every month the referred customer stays. A creator who recommends editing apps, AI writing tools or hosting can earn more from a few software referrals than from a page of retail links, so the page should present those tools as products with a reason to buy, not as buttons.
Count the cost of one page per profile
Taplink sells one rate plan per Instagram profile. If you run a main account and a second niche account, you pay twice. Check how a replacement handles more than one storefront before you compare sticker prices.
Keep the link in your bio on a domain you own
Taplink Business and Favly Pro both put your own domain in front of the page. Use it on whichever you pick. A link printed in years of bios and video descriptions that sits on your own domain survives every future change of tool.
Price the switch against what your links earned
Favly Pro costs $288 a year against roughly 72 a year for Taplink Business, so it has to earn its gap. It does that only if seeing commission per link changes what you recommend. At a typical 20% to 30% recurring rate on a $30 a month software plan, one referral who stays a year pays $72 to $108, so two or three retained referrals cover the difference. If it would not change anything, stay on Taplink.
Switch without losing clicks
How to move from Taplink to an affiliate storefront in four steps.
List what earned in the last 12 months
Open every affiliate dashboard you use, Amazon Associates, brand programs and software partners, and export the products or plans that paid commission. Add the things you still recommend that never sold. That list, sorted by money, is your new storefront.
Build collections and tag every link
Create your storefront at favly.com/@you and group recommendations into collections such as camera, desk, AI tools and editing. Put the Favly tag in each program's sub ID or tracking field, so each commission row can be matched to the link that earned it.
Move your domain or update your bio
If your Taplink page sat on your own domain on Business, point that domain at the new storefront on Pro and every printed link keeps working. If it sat on a taplink address, update the link in your Instagram, TikTok and YouTube bios first, since that is where most of the clicks are.
Keep Taplink for orders if you take them
Nothing stops you running both. A creator who sells a preset pack or takes paid bookings can keep that on Taplink Business and link to it from the storefront, while the affiliate recommendations live where their commission is tracked. Import program reports each month and move the earners to the top.
If it is not a fit
If you sell your own products or take orders, stay on Taplink.
This page is not going to talk you out of a tool that fits. If your income is bookings, orders, presets, courses or leads collected from Instagram, Taplink Business gives you a checkout at a 0% transaction fee, application forms, a CRM, automated emails and a custom domain for about 72 a year, which is a quarter of Favly Pro, and Favly has no product checkout at all. If you only need a free page with a handful of links, Taplink Basic is free and allows unlimited links. Favly earns its $288 a year only when affiliate commission, especially recurring software commission, is your main income and you want to see which link earned it.

FAQ
Questions creators ask about Taplink and what to use instead.
What is the best Taplink alternative?
It depends on where your money comes from. For creators who sell products or take bookings, Stan Store or Beacons are the closest swaps, though both cost more than Taplink. For creators whose income is affiliate commission on tools and gear they recommend, a storefront that reports earnings per link fits better. Favly Pro does that for $288 a year with no fee on commission.
How much does Taplink cost?
Taplink Basic is free. On 12-month billing, Pro is 3 a month (36 a year) and Business is 6 a month (72 a year), the figures on Taplink's pricing page on 15 October 2026, shown to us in euros. Paid plans have a three-month minimum, and paying for 6 or 12 months up front saves 30% or 50%.
Is Taplink free?
Yes, Taplink Basic is free forever. It covers pre-designed themes, unlimited links, text blocks, social and messaging links, maps, page view statistics and a QR code. Click analytics, video and pixels need Pro, and selling products, lead forms and a custom domain need Business.
Why does Taplink make you pay for three months?
Taplink's FAQ says it sells paid plans in blocks of at least three months because its prices are low, and that most services charge more for one month than Taplink does for three. You get 30% off for paying six months and 50% off for paying twelve.
Does Taplink take a cut of sales?
Taplink's comparison grid shows a 0% transaction fee on Business for payments taken through its own checkout. The payment processor still charges its own fee. Affiliate commission never passes through Taplink at all, because the merchant's program pays it directly, so no Taplink plan takes a share of it.
Can you put affiliate links on Taplink?
Yes. Every Taplink plan allows unlimited links, and affiliate links are just links. What Taplink does not list is matching each program's commission report to the link that earned it, so you see clicks in Taplink and money in each affiliate dashboard, separately.
Is Taplink better than Linktree?
On price, Taplink is cheaper: its Business plan with checkout and a custom domain costs less per year than Linktree Pro at $144. Linktree has the larger template library and the more familiar brand. For affiliate income specifically, neither one reports commission per link.
Can I use my own domain on Taplink?
Yes, on the Business plan, which includes a custom domain and an SSL certificate for it. Favly Pro also includes a custom domain. Whichever you choose, putting your bio link on a domain you own means it keeps working if you ever change tools.
What are sites like Taplink?
Sites like Taplink fall into three groups. Link in bio pages such as Linktree and Lnk Bio. Creator shops with checkout such as Stan Store, Beacons and Komi. And affiliate storefronts such as Favly, ShopMy and LTK, which are built around commission on products you recommend rather than products you sell.
Is there a cheaper Taplink alternative?
Not by much. Taplink is already among the cheapest paid link in bio tools, and its free plan allows unlimited links. Favly costs more and is not trying to win on page price. It offers one free demo storefront so you can see a collection live before deciding whether earnings per link are worth $288 a year.
Go deeper
If you are weighing other link pages on price, Linktree pricing plan by plan covers every tier and its seller fees, Lnk Bio vs Linktree pricing covers the one-time payment option, and the best link in bio platforms compares every major page by what each one is priced for.
If you sell your own products as well, Stan Store alternatives prices each creator shop from the vendor's own page, and our Komi alternative covers the mini-site built around digital products and fan email.
If your income is commission, an affiliate link in bio shows how a commission-first page differs from a list of buttons, our affiliate link manager shows how program reports are matched back to each link, and recurring affiliate programs lists the software programs that keep paying after the first sale. The full numbers for Taplink's plans are in Taplink pricing for affiliate creators.
