Later link in bio alternative

Later link in bio alternative: the Linkin.bio alternative for affiliate creators, with Later link in bio pricing and what it actually tracks

Most pages that rank for a Later link in bio alternative are written by other link in bio companies and end with their own signup button. This one ends with ours too, so here is what makes it different: every Later figure below was read on Later's own pricing, link in bio and creator pages on 27 September 2026, and the page says plainly who should keep Later. If you schedule every post through it, the link page is effectively free and you should stay. If you are paying Later mainly for the link in your bio, or you need to know which recommendation earned the commission, read on.

The short answer

Later Link in Bio, still widely known as Linkin.bio, is the clickable Instagram grid page that comes inside Later's social media scheduler. There is a free version, and the paid page comes with Later plans that start at $18.75 a month billed yearly, which is $225 a year. It is a good page if you already schedule through Later. It is an expensive link page if you do not, and it does not import commission reports from Amazon Associates or software partner programs, so a creator paid mostly in affiliate commission needs a storefront that shows earnings per link.

What actually decides it

What decides whether you need a Later link in bio alternative.

01

Linkin.bio is a feature of a scheduler, and it is priced like one

Later sells social sets, scheduled posts, users and AI credits. The link page rides along. That is a very good deal if you use the scheduler: on Starter you get 8 profiles and 30 posts per profile a month for $225 a year, and the grid page comes with it. It is a poor deal if you do not. A creator who opened Later years ago for the link page and now posts natively is paying $225 a year for something Linktree sells at $72 a year on its Starter plan and that several tools give away. So the first question is not which link page is best. It is whether you still use Later for anything else.

02

The grid is great for posts and awkward for a catalog

Later's page mirrors your feed: tap a photo, go to the link you attached to it. For a shop launching new products every week that is exactly right, because the newest post is the newest offer. For a creator whose income comes from a steady set of recommendations it works against you. The camera you reviewed in March is still your best earner in September, but on a grid page it has scrolled twenty rows down, and Later's FAQ is clear that a grid item needs a post behind it. Buttons get around that, yet the moment your page is mostly buttons you are using a scheduler's grid page as a plain link list.

03

"Track every sale" means the sales Later can see

Later's link in bio page promises you can "track every sale", and on its own terms it can: eCommerce sales from your store and sales through Later's own affiliate links. What neither page describes is the case most affiliate creators live in. Amazon Associates pays you from Amazon. A software company pays you from its partner portal. Impact and Awin pay you from theirs. Those programs report commission in their own dashboards, and a link page only sees the tap. If your income arrives that way, the number you need is earnings per link across every program, and that means importing each program's report and matching its rows to your links.

04

Later's own affiliate network is free, and for retail picks it is worth joining

Credit where it is due. Later's creator program asks for no fee, no application and no follower minimum, pays commission every two weeks by direct deposit or PayPal, and says it pays on the full cart rather than the single product you shared. The network came from Mavely, which Later owns, and creator sign in still runs through Mavely. If most of what you recommend is fashion, home or beauty from brands in that catalog, join it. Nothing about it requires the Later link page, and nothing about using a different link page stops you from sharing its links.

05

Three kinds of Later user, and only two should switch

The first schedules everything through Later and uses the grid page as a bonus. Stay; any alternative adds a bill and a login for no gain. The second opened Later for the link page and no longer schedules there. Switch to a dedicated link page, and pick it on price, because at that point Later is the most expensive way to own one. The third earns mostly from affiliate commission across Amazon, retail brands and software, and wants to know which recommendation paid. A grid page cannot tell them that, and neither can a cheaper link page. That creator needs a storefront that imports commission reports.

06

The arithmetic, laid side by side

On annual billing Later Starter is $225 a year, Linktree Pro is $144, Linktree Starter is $72 and Favly Pro is $180. If you schedule through Later, the fair comparison is $225 for scheduling plus a link page against $180 for a storefront alone, and many creators keep both: Later for posting, the bio link pointing at their storefront. If you do not schedule through Later, drop it and choose between a cheap link page and a storefront by one test. If your affiliate income is under about $50 a month, the cheap page wins. Above that, the hour a month you spend reconciling reports by hand is worth more than the difference.

Switch without losing clicks

How to move off Later Link in Bio in four steps, without breaking a single link.

1

Decide what you are actually paying Later for

Open Later and count the posts you scheduled in the last 30 days. If the answer is most of them, keep your plan and treat the rest of this list as optional. If it is none or close to none, you are paying for the link page, and every month from here costs you money for nothing.

2

List every link your followers still tap

Copy your buttons and the links attached to your best performing grid posts into one list, with the program that pays you for each. Later's Link in Bio analytics show which ones get taps, so start with those. Most creators find that 15 to 25 links carry nearly all the clicks.

3

Build the storefront and tag every affiliate link

Create your page at favly.com/@you and group the links into collections a follower can browse, such as desk setup, camera gear or the software you use daily. Put the Favly tag in each program's sub ID or tracking ID field so that a commission can be traced back to the link that earned it, and add the disclosure your programs require.

4

Swap the bio link, then import reports monthly

Replace the link in your Instagram and TikTok bios. If you keep Later for scheduling, nothing else changes. Each month, download the commission report from each program and import it: links that earned move up, links that got taps and no sales get replaced.

If it is not a fit

If you schedule every post through Later, keep Later.

This page is not going to tell you to leave a tool you use every day. If Later runs your posting calendar across Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest, the grid page costs you nothing extra and the clickable feed is a genuinely good experience for a follower who wants the product in a photo they just saw. The case for an alternative starts only when one of two things is true: you are paying Later mostly for the link page, or your income is affiliate commission from programs Later cannot see, and you want earnings per link rather than clicks per link. Many creators in the second group keep Later for scheduling and simply point the bio link at a storefront.

FAQ

Questions creators ask about Later Link in Bio and its alternatives.

What is the best alternative to Later link in bio?

It depends on why you are leaving. If you only need a cheaper link page, Linktree Starter at $72 a year billed yearly is the obvious step down. If your income is affiliate commission across Amazon, brands and software and you want to see which link earned, a storefront that imports commission reports, such as Favly Pro at $180 a year, is the closer fit.

Is Later link in bio free?

Yes, there is a free version. Later's link in bio page invites you to claim a free page. The paid features, such as removing the Later banner and a year or more of Link in Bio analytics, come with Later's paid plans, which start at $18.75 a month billed yearly and include a 14 day free trial.

How much does Later link in bio cost?

The paid page comes inside Later's scheduling plans: Starter at $18.75 a month, Growth at $37.50 and Scale at $82.50, all billed yearly, which is $225, $450 and $990 a year. Later says annual billing saves 25%, so paying monthly costs roughly $25, $50 and $110. There is no link in bio only plan.

Is Linkin.bio the same as Later?

Yes. Linkin.bio is the name Later used for its link in bio product for years, and the pages now call it Later Link in Bio. It is the same clickable grid page, and it comes with a Later account rather than as a separate subscription.

Does Later link in bio track affiliate sales?

Partly. Later says you can track eCommerce sales and use its own custom affiliate links to track every sale. Commission from programs you joined directly, such as Amazon Associates, Impact or a software partner program, is reported in those programs' dashboards, and Later's pages do not describe importing those reports and matching them to your links.

Is Later better than Linktree?

For creators who schedule posts, usually yes, because Later bundles scheduling, analytics and a clickable grid page. As a link page alone Linktree is cheaper, with Starter at $72 a year billed yearly against $225 for Later Starter, and it is simpler to keep evergreen links at the top.

Can I use Later for scheduling and a different link in bio?

Yes. The link in your Instagram or TikTok bio can point anywhere, so many creators keep Later for posting and send the bio link to a storefront or a different link page. You lose the clickable grid, and you keep everything else Later does.

Does Later take a cut of affiliate commissions?

Later's creator page says joining its affiliate program is free, with no subscription fees or hidden costs, and that creators earn commission on sales. Commission from programs you join yourself, such as Amazon Associates, is paid to you by that program and never passes through Later. Later does not publish how brand commission is split inside its own network.

How many links can you add to a Later link in bio post?

Up to five per Instagram post and one per TikTok post, according to Later's pricing table. Its link in bio FAQ says five links per Instagram post needs the Growth plan or above, so the two pages disagree. Check your own plan before planning a post around multiple links.

Do you need 1,000 followers for a link in bio on TikTok?

Yes. Later's FAQ says adding a bio link on TikTok requires a TikTok Business account with over 1,000 followers. That is TikTok's own rule and applies to every link in bio tool, not only Later. Instagram has no follower minimum for a bio link.

Go deeper

If the real reason you are leaving is price, compare the dedicated link pages first. Linktree alternatives sets the main options side by side, Linktree pricing breaks down every tier from the plan page, and the best link in bio platforms covers what each one charges and which fees can reach your income. Our Beacons review covers the one most often suggested next, including the fee it charges on its own brand marketplace.

If your picks are mostly retail brands, Later's own network may earn you more than any link page change. Mavely creator requirements explains who gets in and how payouts work, and Mavely commission rates covers what the brands in that catalog pay. For Instagram in particular, affiliate marketing on Instagram covers every place a link can live on the platform, and the best link in bio for Instagram affiliate creators compares the pages built for it.
