Carrd alternative and Carrd pricing for creators who earn from affiliate links

Most pages ranking for a Carrd alternative are lists written by another site builder. We read Carrd's own Pro page on the day this was written and kept what Carrd publishes apart from what follows from it. Carrd is an excellent tool at what it does, and at $19 a year it is hard to beat on price. The question that decides a switch is whether you need a page or a record of which recommendations pay.

The short answer

Carrd is a one page website builder, and it is very cheap: a free account to start, Pro Lite at $9 a year, Pro Standard at $19 a year with a custom domain, forms and analytics, and Pro Plus at $49 a year. It is the right choice if you want a clean personal page for almost nothing. It does not know which of your affiliate links earned money, because commission is paid by the merchant and never passes through a Carrd page. If most of your income is commission on tools and gear you recommend, the better Carrd alternative is a storefront that matches each payout to the link that sent it. Favly Pro does that for $288 a year.

What you want to know The answer Detail
Carrd Free $0 OFFICIAL, carrd.co/pro, 31 October 2026. The page offers a free Carrd account to sign up. Pro features such as custom domains, forms, widgets and analytics are listed as Pro only.
Carrd Pro Lite $9 a year OFFICIAL. Three sites, premium URLs, no Carrd branding, no element limit. It does not include a custom domain, forms, widgets or analytics.
Carrd Pro Standard $19 a year OFFICIAL. Ten sites, custom domain URLs, forms, widgets and embeds, analytics, meta tags and local fonts. This is the plan most creators actually need. Larger tiers with more sites run up to $599 a year.
Carrd Pro Plus $49 a year OFFICIAL. Twenty five sites plus advanced forms, redirects, password protection, variables, site downloads and a canonical URL setting.
Free trial 7 days of Pro, no card OFFICIAL. Carrd states you can test Pro features free for seven days with no payment or credit card required.
Affiliate commission import Not offered STRUCTURAL. Carrd lists forms, widgets, embeds and analytics, not program reports. Amazon Associates, Impact, Awin and direct software programs pay from their own systems, so a page builder only sees the clicks it served.
Price gap versus Favly Pro $269 a year STRUCTURAL. Favly Pro is $288 a year and Carrd Pro Standard is $19, so the difference is $269. That gap only pays for itself if knowing which links earn changes what you promote.
Favly Pro $288 a year ($24 a month billed yearly) OFFICIAL, favly.com/pricing. Imports each program's commission report and matches it to the link that earned. No product checkout, merch fulfillment or membership billing.

what you are really paying for

Carrd builds the page. It does not read your commission reports.

A one page site with your links, a photo and a few sections is exactly what Carrd sells, and at these prices there is no reason to pay more for it. The gap shows up when you have thirty recommendations across Amazon, software partner programs and brand deals, and you want to know which five of them paid you last quarter. That information lives in each program's own dashboard, and a page builder cannot see it.

What to check before you switch

What a Carrd alternative has to do better for a creator paid in commission.

01

Decide whether you need a site or a storefront

If you want a portfolio, a landing page for a newsletter or a simple link page, Carrd already does the job and costs $19 a year. If your recommendations are the product, a page of buttons is not enough, because you need to see which collection and which link earned.

02

Count your links against your earners

Open your last three payout reports and count how many links paid at least once. Creators with a long recommendation list usually find that a handful of links produce most of the commission. A tool that shows you that ranking lets you move the earners up and cut the rest.

03

Check where tracking lives

A Carrd analytics view counts visits to your page. A sale happens later on the merchant's site and is recorded in the merchant's system. Only a tool that imports the program report can tie the two together.

Switch without losing taps

How to add an affiliate storefront next to Carrd in four steps.

1

List what earned in the last 12 months

Pull the products and plans that paid commission from Amazon Associates, your software partner programs and any brand programs. Add the recommendations you have never been paid for, because those links need fixing first.

2

Keep Carrd for the site itself

There is no reason to move an about page or a portfolio. Leave it on Carrd and link to the storefront from the page.

3

Build collections and tag every link

Create your storefront at favly.com/@you and group recommendations into collections such as camera, desk, editing and AI tools. Put the Favly tag in each program's sub ID field so each commission row matches the link that sent the buyer.

4

Swap the bio link and read the first report

Point your social bios at the storefront, then wait for the first full payout cycle. The report shows which collection and link earned.

If it is not a fit

If you want a cheap page, stay on Carrd.

This page is not going to talk you out of a tool that fits. If you need a clean one page site for under $20 a year, Carrd is excellent, and Favly is not a site builder. It is for creators who recommend other companies' products and want links, collections and commission reports in one place. Many creators keep Carrd for the site and add Favly for what they recommend.

FAQ

Questions creators ask about Carrd and what to use instead.

What is the best alternative to Carrd?

It depends on the job. For a plain link page, Linktree. For a creator shop that sells your own products, Stan Store or Beacons. For creators paid mostly in affiliate commission, Favly, because it matches each payout to the link that earned. For a cheap site, Carrd itself is hard to beat on price.

How much does Carrd cost?

Carrd has a free account. Pro Lite is $9 a year, Pro Standard is $19 a year and Pro Plus is $49 a year, per carrd.co/pro on 31 October 2026. Plans with more sites cost more, up to $999 a year for 1,000 sites on Pro Plus.

Is Carrd good for affiliate links?

It works as a place to put them. You can build a clean page and add buttons for every affiliate link. What it cannot do is show which link earned, because commission is paid and recorded by the merchant, not by the page.

Does Carrd have a custom domain?

Yes, but not on Pro Lite. Custom domain URLs start with Pro Standard at $19 a year, which also adds forms, widgets and embeds, analytics and meta tags.

Is Carrd better than Linktree?

For design freedom and price, yes. A Carrd Pro Standard site is $19 a year, while Linktree's paid plans are several times that. Linktree is simpler to set up as a link list and has link level analytics built in. Neither imports affiliate commission reports.

Can I sell products on Carrd?

Carrd lists payment-enabled forms and embeds for services such as Stripe, PayPal and Gumroad on Pro plans. It is not a full shop with fulfillment, so check the exact setup you need before you build around it.

What are sites like Carrd?

Sites like Carrd are one page builders such as Linktree, Taplink and Beacons, creator shops such as Stan Store and Fourthwall, and affiliate storefronts such as Favly, ShopMy and LTK. They differ in whether they build a page, sell a product or track commission.

If you sell a product, Stan Store alternatives prices each creator shop from its own page, and Fourthwall alternatives works out when its Pro plan pays for itself.

If your income is commission, an affiliate link in bio shows how a commission first page differs from a list of buttons, and SaaS affiliate programs covers the programs worth putting on it.
