Stan Store alternatives and Stan Store competitors, priced for creators who earn from affiliate links

Stan Store costs $29 or $99 a month, and its 0% fee only applies to products you sell through its checkout. We re-read Stan, Gumroad, Payhip and Kajabi pricing on 5 October 2026 and lined up eight alternatives by what you sell, so you can see which one costs less for your income.

The short answer

The best Stan Store alternative depends on what you sell. For your own downloads with no monthly fee, Gumroad or Payhip. For courses at scale, Kajabi. For a cheap link page, Linktree or Beacons. If your page is mostly other brands' products, Stan's 0% fee saves you nothing, and Favly Pro shows which affiliate link earned for $288 a year.

At a glance

Stan Store alternatives by price and fee, in one table.

OFFICIAL rows quote each vendor's own pricing page or pricing article, with the date we read it. STRUCTURAL rows are arithmetic or conclusions that follow from those figures. Prices are in USD. A seller fee is a percentage the platform keeps on things you sell through its checkout, on top of card processing.

What Stan's 0% applies to Sales through Stan's checkout STRUCTURAL. A platform can only take a share of money it collects. Your own courses and downloads pass through Stan. Affiliate commission does not.
What it saves on $1,000 of affiliate commission $0 STRUCTURAL. Amazon, Impact, Awin and software partner programs pay you directly. That money never enters any link page, so no seller fee applies anywhere and none is avoided.
Break-even against a 9% seller fee About $278 a month of own sales STRUCTURAL. Stan Creator at $300 a year equals 9% of $3,333 a year. Below that, a 9% platform with no subscription costs less. Above it, Stan costs less.
Custom domain on Stan Store Not supported, forwarding only OFFICIAL, Stan help center article 151 "Can I create a custom domain for my Stan Store". You can forward a domain you own to stan.store/yourname; the store address does not change.
Selling your own products on Favly No Honest limit. Favly holds product recommendations and affiliate links. It is not a checkout for courses, downloads or coaching.

who this page is for

Most people leaving Stan are not leaving because it is bad.

Stan is a fast, well built shop for creators who sell their own courses, presets and coaching calls. People look for an alternative when the $300 a year stops matching what they earn there. Usually that means the page has drifted into mostly affiliate links: the camera you use, the software you teach, the Amazon picks. Stan holds those links fine. It just has nothing to charge 0% on, and nothing that tells you which of them paid.

How to choose

What to compare before you pick a Stan Store alternative.

01

Start with where your money actually comes from

Open last year's payouts and split them in two: money from things you made (courses, presets, templates, calls) and money from recommending things other companies make. Stan, Gumroad, Payhip and Kajabi are built for the first pile. If the second pile is bigger, the platforms on this page that matter are the ones that hold and track links, and the fee comparison stops mattering.

02

Price the fee against your own sales, not the headline

At $200 a month of own-product sales, Payhip's free plan costs $120 a year in fees and Stan costs $300, so Payhip wins. At $1,000 a month, Payhip Free costs $600 a year, Plus costs $588 ($348 plus 2% of $12,000, which is $240), and Stan Creator stays at $300. The crossover against a 5% fee is $500 a month of sales. Do this sum with your number before anything else.

03

Check what sits behind the upper tier

Stan puts email campaigns, discount codes and upsells on Creator Pro at $99 a month. Kajabi starts at $143 a month billed yearly but includes email and courses from Basic. If you need email marketing, compare Stan Pro with Kajabi Basic, not Stan Creator with a $6 link page.

04

Own the address in your bio

Koji, Bento and Linkpop all closed or were folded into another product in the last three years, and their users' old posts pointed at dead or redirected links. Whichever tool you choose, a custom domain you own (shop.yourname.com) means the next move costs you nothing. Stan's help center says a custom domain cannot be connected to a Stan Store, only forwarded to stan.store/yourname. Kajabi, Hoo.be Premium and Favly Pro connect one directly.

05

For affiliate links, ask for earnings per link

Every tool here counts clicks. A click count tells you the $40 microphone gets tapped more than the $300 interface. It does not tell you the interface earned $45 last month and the microphone earned $3. Only the program's commission report, matched back to each link, tells you which pick deserves the top slot.

Switch without losing sales

How to move off Stan Store in four steps without breaking old links.

1

Export your customers and products first

Download your customer list and product files from Stan before you cancel, and note which products still sell. Cancel after the move, not before, so live links in old posts keep working while you rebuild.

2

Put each kind of income where it belongs

Move courses and downloads to the checkout you chose (Gumroad, Payhip or Kajabi). Move your recommendations, the gear, software and Amazon picks, to a storefront built for affiliate links. Mixing both on one page is fine; paying a store subscription to hold links is what to avoid.

3

Build the picks page in collections

On Favly, put your recommendations at favly.com/@you in collections people shop by, such as desk setup or editing software. Add the Favly tag to each program's sub ID field so commission can be matched back to the link that earned it.

4

Point your own domain at it and review monthly

On Pro, use a domain such as picks.yourname.com in your bio, then import each program's commission report once a month and move the earners to the top of the page.

If it is not a fit

If you sell your own courses and earn well on them, Stan may be the right answer.

This page is not going to talk you out of a tool that works. Above about $278 a month of your own product sales, Stan Creator costs less than a 9% platform, and above $500 a month it beats a 5% one. Setup is fast and the 0% fee is real. Favly does not replace Stan for that, because Favly takes no payments from fans and sells no courses. Favly earns its $288 a year when your page is full of other brands' products across several programs and you want to know which link paid.

FAQ

Questions creators ask about Stan Store alternatives.

What is the best alternative to Stan Store?

It depends on what you sell. For your own downloads without a monthly fee, Gumroad or Payhip Free. For courses and email in one place, Kajabi. For a cheap link page, Linktree or Lnk.Bio. For a page of affiliate recommendations, a storefront that matches commission to each link, which is what Favly Pro does for $288 a year.

Is there a free alternative to Stan Store?

Yes, several. Payhip Free charges $0 a month plus 5% per sale. Gumroad charges no monthly fee and takes 10% plus $0.50 per sale. Linktree, Beacons, Hoo.be and Lnk.Bio all have free plans. Stan itself has no free plan, only a 14 day trial, so a free tier is the most common reason people compare.

Is Stan Store worth $29 a month?

It is if you sell enough of your own products. Against a 9% seller fee, Stan Creator pays for itself above about $278 a month of sales, and against Payhip's 5% above $500 a month. Below those numbers a platform without a subscription costs less. For affiliate commission it is never worth it on fees, because no platform takes a cut of that.

Is Stan Store better than Linktree?

For selling your own products, yes. Stan has a full checkout with 0% platform fee, and Linktree's Starter plan lists a 9% seller fee. For a page of links, no. Linktree Free costs $0 and holds affiliate links as well as Stan Creator at $300 a year does. Neither shows commission per link.

Stan Store vs Gumroad, which is cheaper?

Gumroad is cheaper at low sales and Stan at high sales. Gumroad takes 10% plus $0.50 a sale with no subscription, so $250 a month of $25 products costs about $30 a month in Gumroad fees. Stan Creator is $25 a month billed yearly. Past roughly $200 to $250 a month of sales, Stan costs less.

Stan Store vs Payhip, which should I choose?

Payhip if your sales are under about $500 a month, Stan if they are above. Payhip Free is $0 plus 5% a sale and Plus is $29 a month plus 2%. Stan Creator is $29 a month with 0%. Both sell downloads, courses and memberships. Payhip suits a growing shop; Stan suits a creator who sells from a link in bio.

Does Stan Store take a percentage of affiliate commission?

No, and neither does any other tool on this page for programs you join yourself. Amazon, Impact, Awin and software partner programs pay commission to you directly, so it never passes through Stan. The only exception in the category is a platform's own brand marketplace, such as Beacons, which keeps 9% there on its lower plans.

What are Stan Store competitors for coaches?

For booked calls and courses, Kajabi and Payhip are the closest Stan Store competitors. Kajabi bundles courses, email, community and a website from $143 a month billed yearly. Payhip sells coaching, courses and memberships from $0 plus 5%. Stan Creator also books calls, at $29 a month with 0% platform fee.

Can I use Stan Store and another tool together?

Yes, and many creators do. Keep Stan for the products you sell and add one link to a storefront of the gear and software you recommend. Each page then does one job, and you can see which recommendations earn instead of guessing from clicks.

How do I switch from Stan Store without losing customers?

Export your customer list and product files from Stan first, rebuild your products on the new checkout, then update the link in your bio. Keep Stan running until the new store is live so links in old posts still work. A custom domain in your bio makes every later move painless.
