Collective Voice shutting down and a ShopStyle alternative for creators that shows which link earned
Collective Voice ran for well over a decade as ShopStyle Collective before its 2023 rebrand, and it was the link behind years of blog posts, Pins and Instagram stories for fashion, home and lifestyle creators. It is gone. We checked the site and tested the old link domains on 6 October 2026, so this page starts from what a shopper sees today and works out where your commission should come from next.
The short answer
Collective Voice, the creator affiliate network that began in 2008 as ShopStyle Collective, has closed. Its site now reads "Collective Voice is officially closed", and the shopstyle.it short links creators used for years no longer resolve, so they earn nothing. Replacing it takes two things: a network or direct programs that pay commission, and one storefront that holds links from all of them. Favly Pro is that storefront for $288 a year, on your own domain, with earnings shown per link.
Collective Voice status checked on 6 October 2026. Its site reads "Collective Voice is officially closed" and shopstyle.it no longer resolves · No commission fee

At a glance
Collective Voice, the shutdown and your options, in one table.
Rows marked OFFICIAL quote a page owned by the company named in the row, read on 6 October 2026. TESTED rows are requests we made ourselves that day. REPORTED rows come from the creator announcement as quoted by trade press, because the official FAQ now redirects to the closure page. STRUCTURAL rows are reasoning that follows from those facts. Prices are in USD.
| What you want to know | The answer | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Is Collective Voice still running | No. It has closed | OFFICIAL. Every collectivevoice.com page we requested, including the support FAQ, now redirects to a notice that reads "Collective Voice is officially closed". |
| When it was announced | December 2025 | REPORTED. Creators were emailed in December 2025 that the platform would "wind down" worldwide. Net Influencer covered it on 23 December 2025. |
| When links stopped earning | March 31, 2026 | REPORTED. The announcement said links would stop tracking and generating commission after March 31, 2026, and new links could not be created after that date. |
| Final payment date | July 19, 2026 | REPORTED. Final payment of eligible balances was scheduled for July 19, 2026, after a 90 day window to confirm pending commission. |
| Dashboard access | Ended July 31, 2026 | REPORTED. Full dashboard access ran to March 31, 2026 and limited access to July 31, 2026. Reports you did not download are no longer reachable. |
| What an old shopstyle.it link does now | Fails to load | TESTED. On 6 October 2026 shopstyle.it and shopstyle.com had no address records and www.shopstyle.com returned NXDOMAIN. A shopper who taps an old link gets a browser error, not the retailer. |
| Does an old link still earn commission | No | STRUCTURAL. The commission lived inside the Collective Voice redirect. With the domain gone, the shopper never reaches the retailer with your tracking attached. |
| How big it was | About 140,000 creators | REPORTED. Trade coverage put it at roughly 140,000 creators and 22,000 brands at the time of the announcement. |
| Mavely page aimed at Collective Voice users | Now returns 404 | TESTED. Mavely published a Collective Voice alternative page that search engines still list. It returned HTTP 404 when we requested it on 6 October 2026. |
| Where your product list still lives | Your own posts | STRUCTURAL. With the dashboard closed, rebuild from blog posts, Pinterest boards and story highlights that link to shopstyle.it. Start with the posts that still get traffic. |
| Recurring commission on subscriptions | Not from retail networks | STRUCTURAL. Fashion and home retail pays once per order. Software and subscription programs are the only common source of commission that repeats monthly. |
| Custom domain for your storefront | Favly Pro | OFFICIAL, favly.com/pricing. Point your own domain at the storefront so the link in your posts stays yours whichever network sits behind it. |
| Earnings per link across networks | Favly Pro, from your reports | OFFICIAL, favly.com/pricing. Revenue attribution imports each program's commission report and matches rows to the link that earned them. |
| Favly Pro price | $288 a year ($24 a month billed yearly) | OFFICIAL, favly.com/pricing. No fee on your affiliate commissions. One free demo storefront to try it before you pay. |
| Brand catalog of its own | Not a Favly feature | Honest limit. Favly is a storefront, not a retail network. You still join LTK, ShopMy, Mavely, Amazon or a retailer's own program for the commission itself. |
what you actually lost
Collective Voice was both the network and the link, so both need replacing.
A link page that closes takes your layout with it. Collective Voice took more than that, because it was the affiliate network as well: it held the retailer relationships, wrapped every product in a shopstyle.it link and paid you itself. When it closed, the brand access, the links and the payouts all stopped together. That is why moving everything to the next single network repeats the risk. Split the job instead: networks and direct programs for the commission, and one storefront on a domain you control for the links your audience actually taps.
What the closure teaches
What to demand from a Collective Voice alternative after watching the network disappear.
Separate the network from the link your audience taps
On Collective Voice the network and the link were the same thing. Every product sat behind a shopstyle.it address the network owned, so when the network closed, years of posts broke on the same day. Whatever you join next, do not put its domain in front of everything again. Keep the commission with the networks and put a storefront on your own domain in front of them, so changing network later means swapping links in one place instead of editing 500 posts.
More than one network, on purpose
Collective Voice creators used it because one login reached thousands of retailers. No single replacement covers the same list. LTK is strong in fashion and home, ShopMy in beauty and boutique brands, Mavely in mass retail with no application, and Amazon in everything else. Most creators who rebuilt well now run two or three. That only stays manageable if the links sit in one storefront rather than in three apps.
Proof of which link earned
Running three networks makes the old Collective Voice dashboard look simple. Each network reports its own sales in its own format, and none of them sees the others. The useful number is commission per link across all of them, which needs each report matched back to the link that produced it. That tells you which retailer deserves the top spot in your edit and which network is not worth keeping.
Payout rules you can read before you commit
Collective Voice creators learned that a final payment date can arrive with a few months of notice. Before you move years of traffic to a network, read its payment schedule, its minimum and what happens to pending commission if you leave. Mavely publishes payment dates on the 1st and 15th of each month. LTK does not publish a payout minimum, and quoted figures disagree, so treat any number you see as reported.
A storefront shoppers can browse, not a list of buttons
Collective Voice gave creators shoppable boards and collections, and fashion and home shoppers browse by room, outfit and season. A link in bio page with one column of buttons works for five links and fails for fifty. Look for named collections with an image and a short note on each item, which is how your old boards worked.
Price it against what Collective Voice used to pay you
Favly Pro is $288 a year. At a 10% retail commission that is roughly $2,900 of orders a year through your links, about $240 a month. If your Collective Voice earnings were well below that, a free network storefront is the honest answer, and this page says so below.
Rebuild without losing more clicks
How to replace Collective Voice in four steps and fix the dead shopstyle.it links you already published.
Find the posts that still send clicks
Open Google Search Console, Pinterest analytics and your blog statistics and list the posts with traffic over the last 90 days that still link to shopstyle.it. Those are the only broken links worth fixing first. A post nobody reads can wait, and many never need fixing at all.
Join the networks your products actually live in
Check where the retailers in those posts run their programs today. Apply to LTK or ShopMy for fashion and home, use Mavely for mass retail without an application, add Amazon Associates for everything Amazon stocks, and join a retailer directly where it runs its own program. Approval can take days, so apply before you rewrite anything.
Build one storefront on your own domain
Create your storefront at favly.com/@you, group products into collections the way your boards were organized, and paste each network's link on its product. On Pro, point a domain you own, such as shop.yourname.com, at the storefront. Put the Favly tag in each program's sub ID field so commission rows can be matched to links.
Replace the dead links, top posts first
Swap the shopstyle.it links in your top posts for links to the matching storefront collection, then update Pinterest pins and story highlights. Each month, import the networks' commission reports and move the products that earned to the top of each collection.
If it is not a fit
If you moved to one network and everything you post is in its catalog, use its free storefront.
This page is not going to sell you a subscription you do not need. If you joined LTK, ShopMy or Mavely after the closure and every product you post sits in that one catalog, its own storefront is free, built for exactly that, and pays you directly. Use it. Favly earns its $288 a year only when your links come from two or more networks or direct programs, when you also recommend software or subscriptions that pay recurring commission, or when you want your own domain in front of everything so the next closure leaves your posts working.

Side by side
Where Collective Voice creators actually went, honestly compared.
Mavely courted Collective Voice creators directly after the announcement and asks for no application, so it is the most common single move. This table sets Mavely against Favly Pro, because for a creator running more than one network that is the real decision. Mavely figures come from its own pages as quoted on our Mavely commission rates page, read in September 2026.

FAQ
Questions creators ask about Collective Voice and what to use instead.
What happened to Collective Voice?
Collective Voice closed. Creators were told in December 2025 that the platform would wind down worldwide, links stopped tracking after March 31, 2026, the final payment was scheduled for July 19, 2026, and dashboard access ended July 31, 2026. The site now reads "Collective Voice is officially closed".
Is Collective Voice shutting down?
It already has. Every collectivevoice.com page now redirects to the closure notice, and the shopstyle.it domain its links ran through no longer resolves. Any Collective Voice link still sitting in a blog post, Pin or bio sends shoppers to a browser error and earns no commission.
What happened to ShopStyle Collective?
ShopStyle Collective is the same business. It launched in 2008, rebranded as Collective Voice in 2023 and closed after the December 2025 wind-down announcement. The ShopStyle shopping site went with it: shopstyle.com no longer resolves either.
Do my Collective Voice links still work?
No. We checked on 6 October 2026: shopstyle.it and shopstyle.com have no address records, so a shopper who taps an old link sees an error page and never reaches the retailer. Links stopped earning after March 31, 2026, before the domains went dark.
What is the best alternative to Collective Voice?
There is no single replacement, because Collective Voice was both a network and a link tool. For the network, most creators moved to LTK, ShopMy, Mavely or Amazon Associates, often more than one. For the links, a storefront on your own domain such as Favly Pro holds all of them and shows which earned.
Will I still get paid by Collective Voice?
The final payment of eligible balances was scheduled for July 19, 2026, after a 90 day window to confirm pending commission. Commission from clicks after March 31, 2026 was never tracked. If a balance you expected never arrived, the announcement pointed creators to Collective Voice support by email.
Is Mavely a good Collective Voice alternative?
For mass retail, yes. Mavely is free, asks for no application and pays on the 1st and 15th of each month. It covers only the brands in its own catalog, though, and its links use its own domain, so it suits creators whose products sit mostly in Mavely rather than across several networks.
Is LTK or ShopMy better for former Collective Voice creators?
It depends on the catalog. LTK is strongest in fashion and home and reviews applications, while ShopMy leans to beauty and boutique brands. Many former Collective Voice creators run both. Our ShopMy vs LTK page compares the two on rates, approval and payouts.
How do I fix old shopstyle.it links on my blog?
Fix the posts that still get traffic first. Pull the last 90 days from Search Console or your blog statistics, replace the shopstyle.it links in the top posts with links to a storefront collection on your own domain, then update Pinterest pins. Old posts with no traffic can wait.
Is there a free Collective Voice alternative?
Yes. LTK, ShopMy and Mavely storefronts are free for creators and pay you from brand budgets. Favly offers one free demo storefront so you can build a collection before paying. Keeping it running across several networks, with a custom domain and earnings per link, is Favly Pro at $288 a year.
Go deeper
Choosing the network comes first. ShopMy vs LTK compares the two most common landing spots for fashion and home creators, LTK creator requirements and ShopMy creator requirements cover who gets approved, and Mavely commission rates covers what the no-application option actually pays and when.
Then the links. An affiliate storefront shows how products from several networks sit in one set of collections, our affiliate link manager shows how commission reports are matched back to each link, and a custom domain link in bio explains how to put your own address in front of the storefront so a network closure never breaks your posts again.
Collective Voice was not the only creator tool to close this year. Kit.co alternative covers the gear list tool that closed in May 2026, and the same rule applies to both: keep the link your audience taps on a domain you own.
