Taplink pricing has three plans. Basic is free forever. Pro is 3 a month and Business is 6 a month when you pay for 12 months at once, which works out to 36 and 72 a year. Paid plans are sold in blocks of at least three months, and paying for 6 or 12 months up front takes 30% or 50% off. We read taplink.at/en/pricing on 15 October 2026, and every Taplink figure here comes from that page. It showed us euros; US software listings quote the same 3 and 6 in dollars, because Taplink shows the currency for where you are.
For a creator whose income is affiliate commission, the short version is this. Taplink is cheap and does exactly what it says. Business, the plan most reviews tell you to buy, is built around selling your own things: a checkout with a 0% transaction fee, lead forms, a CRM and automated emails. Commission from Amazon, software partners or brand programs never touches any of it. So the useful question is not whether Taplink is good value. It is which of your income lines each plan actually changes.
How much does Taplink cost per month?
Taplink costs nothing on Basic, 3 a month on Pro and 6 a month on Business, on 12-month billing. Those are discounted rates. Taplink lists Pro at 72 a year and Business at 144 a year before the annual discount, so the undiscounted monthly rate is about 6 and 12. The FAQ explains the three-month minimum plainly: its prices are low enough that most services charge more for one month than Taplink charges for three.
| Plan | 3 months (no discount) | 6 months (30% off) | 12 months (50% off) | Built for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | Free | Free | Free | A simple page of links |
| Pro | About 6 a month | About 4.20 a month | 3 a month, 36 a year | Creators who want media and click data |
| Business | About 12 a month | About 8.40 a month | 6 a month, 72 a year | Selling products and collecting leads |
The 12-month column is what Taplink's pricing page displays. The 3 and 6 month rates are the same list price with the discounts Taplink's FAQ states, so they are arithmetic rather than quoted figures. One more rule worth knowing before you budget: Taplink sells one rate plan per Instagram profile. Two accounts means two plans.
What do you get on each Taplink plan?
Basic covers pre-designed themes, unlimited links, text blocks, messaging and social media buttons, maps, page view statistics, shared access and a QR code. For a creator with ten affiliate links in a bio, that is already a working page, and affiliate links are just links, so nothing stops you using them on the free plan.
Pro adds professional templates, images, video and music blocks, price lists, custom HTML, social media pixel support, scheduled blocks and, most usefully, click analytics. Business adds internal pages, digital products, accepting payments, application forms, a CRM, automated emails, payment notifications, a countdown timer, branding removal and a custom domain with its own SSL certificate. The comparison grid lists a 0% transaction fee against Business.
Is Taplink Pro worth it for affiliate links?
Taplink Pro is worth it for an affiliate creator only for the click analytics, and only if you will act on them. At 36 a year it is cheap enough that the bar is low. The limit is what the number measures. A click count tells you which button people tapped. It cannot tell you which tap turned into a sale, because the sale is recorded inside the merchant's affiliate program, often days later, and the page never hears about it.
That gap matters more than it sounds. A creator's most clicked link is often not the one that earns most. A cheap phone mount can collect hundreds of taps at a 3% retail rate, while an editing app picked by twenty people pays a share of every month they stay subscribed. Ranking your page by clicks pushes the wrong thing to the top.
Does the 0% transaction fee on Taplink Business help affiliate income?
No. The 0% transaction fee on Taplink Business applies to payments taken through Taplink's own checkout, and affiliate commission never goes through it. The merchant tracks the sale, calculates your commission and pays you from its own program. There is no money passing through the page for any fee to apply to, so a 0% fee and a 10% fee are worth exactly the same on commission: nothing.
This is the most common mistake in link in bio comparisons, and it is not specific to Taplink. Fee tables are written for creators who sell presets, ebooks or bookings. We cover the whole category in whether link in bio tools take a cut, and the conclusion holds here too: if you sell nothing through the page, upgrading for a lower seller fee buys you nothing.
What does Taplink cost over a year against what your links earn?
Here is the arithmetic for three creators, using Taplink's 12-month rates and Favly Pro at $288 a year from favly.com/pricing. We treat a euro and a dollar as roughly equal for a budget this size. Swap in your own numbers.
| Creator | Income mix | Best fit on Taplink | Yearly cost | What decides it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hobby reviewer | A few affiliate links, under $50 a month in commission | Basic | Free | Nothing you pay for changes the commission |
| Coach or shop on Instagram | Bookings, orders and a digital guide | Business | About 72 | Checkout, lead forms and the CRM are the product |
| Tech or AI tool reviewer | Mostly affiliate commission, some recurring software | Basic or Pro | 0 to 36 | Knowing which link earned, which Taplink does not show |
The third creator is the one this article is written for. For them, Taplink Basic is a perfectly good free page, and Pro adds click counts for very little. Neither changes what the page earns. What would change it is seeing commission per link: importing each program's report and matching every row to the link that sent the buyer, so the earners move up and the dead links come off.
That is what Favly Pro does, and it costs $288 a year, against about 72 for Taplink Business. Is the difference worth it? Take one software recommendation at a typical 20% to 30% recurring rate on a $30 a month plan. One referred customer who stays a year pays you $72 to $108. Two or three of those cover the gap between the two tools, and the whole point of seeing commission per link is to find and promote more of them. If you recommend almost no software and your commission is small, the arithmetic does not work, and you should stay on Taplink.
Whichever way you go, stacks of small creator subscriptions renew quietly. Taplink's three-month blocks, an editing app, a scheduler and a storefront add up, and setting spending alerts on recurring subscriptions before the renewal dates is cheaper than discovering them on a card statement.
Can I use Taplink for free?
Yes, Taplink Basic is free with no time limit. It includes unlimited links, so you can run a complete affiliate link page on it without paying. The free plan does not include click analytics, video, pixels, a custom domain, selling products or removing Taplink's branding. For many creators starting out with a handful of affiliate links, Basic is all the page they need.
When does a Taplink alternative make more sense?
A Taplink alternative makes more sense when the page's job changes from sending clicks to growing commission. Three signs point that way. Your affiliate income is now the biggest line in your creator income. You recommend software or AI tools that pay recurring commission. And you cannot answer the question "which of my links earned last month" without opening five dashboards.
If that is you, our Taplink alternative page sets Taplink Business against Favly Pro line by line, including the places Taplink wins, such as checkout, lead forms and price. For the product side of the switch, an affiliate link in bio built around commission shows how a storefront presents recommendations as products with a reason to buy, and the affiliate link manager shows how program reports are matched back to each link.
If you also sell your own products, keep both. Leave the checkout and lead forms on Taplink Business, where they are excellent value, and link to it from a storefront that tracks the commission side. For the wider field of link pages and what each costs, Linktree pricing plan by plan and the best link in bio platforms cover the rest.
Frequently asked questions about Taplink pricing
Why is Taplink so cheap?
Taplink sells paid plans in blocks of at least three months and gives 50% off for a year up front, so its advertised 3 and 6 a month are annual rates. It is also a narrow product: one page per Instagram profile, built around links, price lists and a checkout, without the course hosting or email marketing suites some rivals bundle.
Can I cancel Taplink anytime?
Taplink's FAQ says you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time and pay the difference when upgrading. Because paid plans are bought in three, six or twelve month blocks, you are buying a term rather than a rolling monthly subscription, so check the term before you pay.
Does Taplink take a percentage of affiliate commission?
No. No Taplink plan touches affiliate commission, because the merchant's program pays it to you directly and it never passes through Taplink. The 0% transaction fee on Business applies only to payments taken through Taplink's own checkout.
Is Taplink cheaper than Linktree?
Yes, on paid plans. Taplink Business, which includes a checkout and a custom domain, is about 72 a year on 12-month billing, while Linktree Pro is $12 a month billed annually, or $144 a year. Both have free plans with unlimited basic links.
