Fourthwall alternatives and Fourthwall pricing for creators who earn from affiliate links

Most pages that rank for Fourthwall alternatives are written by a rival shop builder and compare merch margins, not what a creator actually keeps. We read Fourthwall's own pricing page on the day this was written, checked it against our earlier reading, set every plan against the shops creators weigh it with, and kept what Fourthwall publishes apart from what follows from it. The question that decides the right tool is whose product you sell. If it is yours, Fourthwall is a strong, honest choice. If it is somebody else's, most of what you would pay for is features that never earn.

The short answer

The best Fourthwall alternatives are Stan Store for courses and downloads, Beacons for a cheaper all in one page with a free plan, Komi for a low cost mini site, Linktree for a plain link page, and Favly for creators whose income is affiliate commission. Fourthwall is free to start, and Pro costs $15 a month billed yearly ($19 monthly when we read it in August). It takes a 5% fee on digital products and memberships on the free plan and removes it on Pro. That fee never touches affiliate commission, because the merchant pays you directly.

What you want to know The answer Detail
Fourthwall Free $0 a month OFFICIAL, fourthwall.com/pricing, 29 October 2026. The page reads Free forever with an upgrade to Pro at any time. You can launch a shop, sell merch and digital products and offer memberships.
Fourthwall Pro $15 a month billed yearly, $19 monthly OFFICIAL. The $15 annual price and the $48 yearly saving were confirmed on 29 October 2026, and the $19 monthly price was read on 31 August 2026. Pro lists 24/7 priority support, no fees on digital products, a free .store domain and $120 of shop credit a year on annual billing for ordering product samples.
Fee on digital products 5% on Free, none on Pro OFFICIAL. The free plan lists a 5% fee and a 5 GB limit on digital products, Pro lists no fees and a 100 GB limit.
Fee on memberships 5% on Free and on Pro OFFICIAL. The pricing page shows a 5% fee against memberships on both columns when we read it, so Pro does not remove it. Payment processing is charged separately.
Merchant of record Yes OFFICIAL, read 31 August 2026. Fourthwall states it handles sales tax registration, collection and remittance on shop sales. That is real value if you sell physical or digital products into many states.
Fourthwall fee on affiliate commission None STRUCTURAL. Amazon Associates, Impact, Awin, PartnerStack and direct software programs pay you from their own systems. That money never reaches Fourthwall, so no fee applies to it.
When Pro pays for itself on fees About $3,600 a year of digital sales STRUCTURAL. Pro on annual billing is $180 a year, and $180 is 5% of $3,600. Below that, the free plan's 5% fee costs less than the upgrade, unless you need the domain, the storage or the priority support.
Stan Store $300 or $948 a year OFFICIAL, Stan owned pages, read 9 September 2026. Creator and Creator Pro on annual billing, 0% platform fee, no free plan, a 14 day trial. The closest swap for a course and download business.
Beacons $0, $100, $300 or $1,000 a year OFFICIAL, beacons.ai/i/plans, read 23 October 2026. Free and Creator carry a 9% fee on your own sales, Creator Plus and Creator Max drop it to 0%.
Komi Free, or $192 a year for Pro OFFICIAL, komi.io/pricing, read 14 October 2026. Pro adds a 0% fee on digital products, email campaigns and a custom domain.
Linktree $0, $72, $144 or $360 a year OFFICIAL, Linktree pricing page, read 7 October 2026. Free, Starter, Pro and Premium on annual billing. A link page first, with selling added on top.
Favly Pro $288 a year ($24 a month billed yearly) OFFICIAL, favly.com/pricing. No fee on affiliate commission on any plan. Imports each program's commission report and matches it to the link that earned. No product checkout, merch fulfillment or membership billing.

what you are really paying for

Fourthwall is built for a creator who ships a product. Check whether that is you.

Fourthwall handles merch design, fulfillment, digital downloads, memberships and a branded shop, and it acts as the merchant of record for tax. A creator who reviews cameras, AI apps or editing software and earns commission has very little to put in that shop. The free plan costs nothing, which is fair, but the shop and its fees are aimed at someone with stock, files or members. If that is not your income, the shop is the part you will not use.

What to check before you switch

What a Fourthwall alternative has to do better for a creator paid in commission.

01

Sort last year's income by source

Open your Fourthwall sales report and every affiliate dashboard you use, and put the two totals side by side. If most of the money came from merch, downloads and memberships, you are pricing a shop and Fourthwall, Stan Store and Beacons are the fair comparison. If most of it came from commission on gear, software and AI tools, you are pricing something else, and the shop is the part you are not using.

02

Count what the free plan really costs you

Fourthwall Free costs nothing until you sell. Then it takes 5% of digital products and memberships. For a creator whose shop earns little, that is close to free. The real cost of staying is the page itself: a shop-first layout that puts a merch grid ahead of the recommendations that actually pay you.

03

Know which link earned, not which link was tapped

Fourthwall's analytics see what happens inside its shop. An affiliate sale happens on the merchant's site, often days later, and is recorded in the merchant's system. No shop builder can see it unless it imports the program's report. That import is what lets you move the earners to the top and cut the links that get tapped and never pay.

04

Treat software and AI tools as a separate shelf

A tripod pays once and usually at a low single digit rate. Many software and AI partner programs pay a share of the subscription for every month the customer stays. At a 20% to 30% recurring rate on a $30 a month plan, one referral who stays a year pays $72 to $108. A page that cannot tell those links apart from the tripod is hiding your best earners.

05

Keep the tax side in view

Fourthwall's merchant of record role removes sales tax work on shop sales. An affiliate storefront has no sales to tax, because you do not sell anything, but your commission is still income. Whichever you pick, keep each program's payout statements for your return.

06

Keep your links working through the move

Update your Instagram, TikTok and YouTube bios first, then the descriptions on your most watched videos. If you used a Fourthwall .store domain, keep the shop live until the old links stop getting taps.

Switch without losing taps

How to move from Fourthwall to an affiliate storefront in four steps.

1

Export what earned in the last 12 months

Pull the products and plans that paid commission from Amazon Associates, your software partner programs and any brand programs. Add the things you recommend that you have never been paid for, because those are the links to fix first.

2

Keep Fourthwall for anything you still sell

If you have merch or a download that sells, there is no reason to move it. Stay on the free plan, keep the product live, and link to it from the new page.

3

Build collections and tag every link

Create your storefront at favly.com/@you and group recommendations into collections such as camera, desk, editing and AI tools. Put the Favly tag in each program's sub ID or tracking field, so each commission row can be matched to the link that sent the buyer.

4

Move the bio link, then read the first report

Swap the link in your bios, then wait for the first full payout cycle. The report shows which collection and which link earned, which is the information a shop builder cannot give you about outside programs.

If it is not a fit

If you sell merch, downloads or memberships, stay on Fourthwall.

This page is not going to talk you out of a tool that fits. If your income is your own products, Fourthwall does that job well: free to start, merch without stock, a merchant of record that handles sales tax, and memberships and digital products in one place. Favly does none of that. It is for creators who recommend other companies' products and want every link, collection and commission report in one storefront. Many creators run both, with Fourthwall for what they sell and Favly for what they recommend.

FAQ

Questions creators ask about Fourthwall and what to use instead.

What is the best alternative to Fourthwall?

It depends on where your money comes from. For courses and downloads, Stan Store is the closest swap. For a cheaper all in one page with a free plan, Beacons. For a low cost mini site, Komi. For a plain link page, Linktree. For creators paid mostly in affiliate commission, Favly, because Fourthwall's shop features do not touch that income.

How much does Fourthwall cost?

Fourthwall Free is $0 a month. Pro is $15 a month billed yearly, and the pricing page states that paying yearly saves $48. We read the monthly Pro price as $19 on 31 August 2026. Fees on digital products and memberships are separate, per fourthwall.com/pricing on 29 October 2026.

How much does Fourthwall take?

On the free plan, 5% of digital products and 5% of memberships. Pro removes the fee on digital products but the pricing page still showed 5% on memberships when we read it. Merch works on a base cost model, where you set the retail price and keep the margin. Payment processing is charged on top.

Is Fourthwall free?

Yes, to start. The pricing page reads Free forever and lets you upgrade to Pro at any time. You pay fees only when you sell, plus the payment processing charge. Pro is the paid upgrade for creators who want no fee on digital products, more storage and priority support.

Is Fourthwall better than Stan Store?

For merch without stock and a free start, yes. For a simple course and download shop with no platform fee, Stan is cleaner: Stan Creator is $300 a year with 0% platform fee and no free plan, while Fourthwall Pro is $180 a year. Fourthwall wins on merch and the free tier, Stan on selling digital products at a flat price.

Does Fourthwall take a percentage of affiliate commission?

No. Affiliate commission is paid to you by the merchant or network, not through a Fourthwall checkout, so its fees do not apply. The fee is a cost on products you sell through the shop. The commission you earn on gear, software and AI tools stays whole.

Is Fourthwall good for affiliate marketing?

Only as a place to put links. Fourthwall is built for selling merch, digital products and memberships, so it has no commission import or per link earnings. A creator paid mostly in affiliate commission gets more from a page that matches each payout to the link that earned.

What are sites like Fourthwall?

Sites like Fourthwall fall into three groups. Creator shops with checkout, such as Stan Store, Beacons and Komi. Link in bio pages, such as Linktree, Taplink and Milkshake. And affiliate storefronts, such as Favly, ShopMy and LTK, which are built around earning commission on products other companies sell.

Go deeper

If you also sell a product, Stan Store alternatives prices each creator shop from its own page, Beacons alternatives sorts the field by whether you sell products or earn commission, and Pillar io alternatives puts every Pillar plan next to the same rivals.

If you want something cheaper, our Komi alternative and our Milkshake alternative read both pricing pages at source, and Linktree alternatives compares the biggest name in the field. Best creator commerce platforms explains why own product shops and recommendation storefronts are different businesses.

If your income is commission, an affiliate link in bio shows how a commission first page differs from a list of buttons, and SaaS affiliate programs and recurring affiliate programs cover the programs worth putting on it.
