Pillar pricing has three plans. Creator costs $39 a month, or $29 a month billed yearly. Entrepreneur costs $129 a month, or $99 a month billed yearly. Professional is "Contact us" on monthly billing and $399 a month on annual billing. Annual billing saves 25%, and Pillar also charges a seller fee on what you sell: 5% on Creator and 0% from Entrepreneur up. We read pillar.io/pricing on 23 October 2026, and every Pillar figure on this page comes from there.

For a creator whose income is affiliate commission, the short version is this. Pillar is a capable shop for creators who sell courses, downloads, bookings and memberships, and its upper plans add funnels, landing pages and a branded app. Almost everything on the price ladder is about selling your own products. Commission from Amazon Associates, software partner programs or brand programs never passes through Pillar, so the seller fee never touches it. The useful question is not which Pillar plan is cheapest. It is whether you have enough of your own product to sell to make any of them worth it.

How much does Pillar cost?

Pillar costs $348 a year on Creator, $1,188 a year on Entrepreneur and $4,788 a year on Professional, at the annual rates on its pricing page. Paying monthly costs more: Creator is $468 over twelve months at $39 a month, and Entrepreneur is $1,548 at $129 a month. Professional has no published monthly price, only a contact form. The Entrepreneur card on annual billing offers a 3 day free trial.

PlanBilled yearlyBilled monthlyCost over 12 monthsSeller fee
Creator$29 a month$39 a month$348 to $4685%
Entrepreneur$99 a month$129 a month$1,188 to $1,5480%
Professional$399 a monthContact us$4,788 on annual0%

One detail worth knowing before you look for a free tier. The Creator card says "Everything in Free", but the pricing page shows no Free plan card, and no free plan price. Plan on paying from the first month, and check the signup flow yourself if a free start matters to you.

What does each Pillar plan include?

Creator includes a mobile-optimized creator store, a media kit that updates weekly, unlimited digital products and calendar bookings, an online course builder, customer invoices, a QR code business card and 5 AI product generator credits. That is a complete small shop for someone with a course, an ebook or paid calls to sell.

Entrepreneur adds a custom domain for the store, a media kit that updates daily, Buy Now Pay Later at checkout, ticket sales for live events, 30 AI credits, brand deal reports, a sales funnel builder, a landing page builder, premium support and the 0% seller fee. Professional adds an AI that Pillar describes as trained on your content, a personally branded mobile app with push notifications to subscribers, a dedicated Slack channel for support and unlimited AI product generation. If the thing you actually want from that top tier is an AI version of yourself that answers fans on camera, a dedicated tool for building an AI clone of yourself for video and voice does that one job without a $4,788 annual plan around it.

Does Pillar take a cut of affiliate commission?

No. Pillar's 5% seller fee applies to sales made through your Pillar store, and it drops to 0% on Entrepreneur and Professional. Commission you earn from programs you joined yourself is calculated and paid by the merchant, usually into your own bank or PayPal account, and it never passes through Pillar. So no Pillar plan changes what you keep from Amazon Associates, Impact, Awin or a software partner program.

There is one feature name that confuses people here. Pillar lists Affiliate Marketing among its tools, and it is a good tool, but it works the other way round. It lets you recruit other people to promote your products, set their commission per product and pay them out, which Pillar says happens every 10 days. That is affiliate management for sellers. It does nothing for a creator whose income is commission on other companies' products, because in that case you are the affiliate, not the merchant.

When does Pillar Entrepreneur pay for itself?

On fees alone, Pillar Entrepreneur pays for itself once your own store sales pass about $16,800 a year, or $1,400 a month, on annual billing. Entrepreneur costs $70 a month more than Creator on annual billing and removes a 5% fee, and $70 is 5% of $1,400. On monthly billing the gap is $90 a month, so the break-even rises to $1,800 a month in sales.

Your monthly store salesCreator, yearly ($29 + 5%)Entrepreneur, yearly ($99 + 0%)Cheaper plan
$0 (affiliate income only)$29$99Creator, and neither is needed
$500$54$99Creator
$1,400$99$99Break even
$3,000$179$99Entrepreneur

Payment processing is left out because you pay it on both plans. The first row is the one that matters for this page. A creator earning $500 a month in commission and selling nothing pays $0 in Pillar fees on either plan, and still pays $348 to $1,188 a year for a shop with nothing in it. If you upgrade, upgrade for the funnels, the domain or the brand deal reports, and know that those are what you are buying.

How does Pillar pricing compare to Stan Store and Beacons?

Pillar is the most expensive of the three at the entry level. Stan Store Creator is $29 a month or $300 a year with a 0% platform fee, according to Stan's own pages when we read them on 9 September 2026. Beacons Creator Plus is $300 a year or $30 a month with a 0% fee, and Beacons also has a free plan at a 9% fee, per beacons.ai/i/plans on 23 October 2026. Pillar Creator costs $348 a year and still keeps 5%.

Pillar Entrepreneur$1,188 a year0%None shown
Stan Store Creator$300 a year0%No, 14 day trial
Beacons Creator Plus$300 a year0%Yes, at a 9% fee
Favly Pro$288 a yearNo fee on affiliate commissionOne free demo storefront

That comparison is not the whole story, and it is fair to Pillar to say so. Its Entrepreneur plan packs a landing page builder, a funnel builder and event ticketing into one bill, which on other stacks means two or three more subscriptions. A creator running a real course business can come out ahead. Our Stan Store alternatives page prices each creator shop from its own page if you are comparing those in detail, and Beacons alternatives sorts the field by whether you sell products or earn commission.

What should an affiliate creator pay for instead?

An affiliate creator should pay for whatever shows which recommendation earned. That means importing each program's commission report and matching every row back to the link that sent the buyer. With that, you can move the earners to the top of the page and drop the links that get tapped and never pay. Without it, you are guessing from clicks, and clicks reward the cheapest, most tappable products rather than the ones that pay.

This matters most for software and AI tools. Many software partner programs pay a share of the subscription every month the customer stays. At a typical 20% to 30% recurring rate on a $30 a month plan, one referral who stays a year pays $72 to $108. Our list of recurring affiliate programs covers who pays that way.

That is what Favly is built for. Favly Pro costs $288 a year, or $24 a month billed yearly, and it imports program reports and matches commission to each link, with no fee on affiliate commission on any plan. For a creator with nothing of their own to sell, that is $60 a year less than Pillar Creator and pointed at the money they actually make. Our affiliate link manager page shows how the report matching works, and you can set up one free demo storefront first without a card.

Pillar or Favly, which one should you pick?

Pick Pillar if you sell a course, an ebook, coaching calls or event tickets and you want the store, the funnels and the landing pages in one place. Its Entrepreneur plan is built for exactly that, and Favly has no product checkout at all. Pick Favly if most of what you earn is commission on tools and gear you recommend, and you want to know which recommendation paid.

Plenty of creators end up with both kinds of income. If that is you, keep the shop where the products are and give the affiliate picks their own storefront, linked to each other, so each tool is doing the job it is priced for.

Frequently asked questions about Pillar pricing

Is Pillar free?

Not on the pricing page. Pillar shows three paid plans, Creator, Entrepreneur and Professional, and no free plan card, although the Creator card says it includes "Everything in Free". The Entrepreneur plan on annual billing offers a 3 day free trial. Check the signup flow if you need a free start.

How much is Pillar per month?

Pillar Creator is $39 a month, or $29 a month billed yearly. Entrepreneur is $129 a month, or $99 a month billed yearly. Professional is $399 a month on annual billing and has no published monthly price. Annual billing saves 25%, according to pillar.io/pricing on 23 October 2026.

What are Pillar's seller fees?

Pillar charges a 5% seller fee on the Creator plan and 0% on Entrepreneur and Professional, on sales made through your Pillar store. Payment processing is charged separately. The fee never applies to affiliate commission from programs you join yourself, because that money is paid to you by the merchant.

Is Pillar worth it for affiliate marketing?

Only if you also sell your own products. Pillar's pricing is built around a store, courses and funnels, and its Affiliate Marketing tool is for recruiting people to promote your products. If your income is commission on other companies' products, you would be paying at least $348 a year for features you do not use.

Is Pillar cheaper than Stan Store?

No, not at the entry level. Pillar Creator costs $348 a year with a 5% seller fee, while Stan Store Creator costs $300 a year with a 0% platform fee. Pillar's Entrepreneur plan includes more marketing tools than Stan Creator, including funnels and a landing page builder, but costs $1,188 a year.
