Best apps for influencers to make money from product sales, compared on payouts

The best app depends on your audience size and what you recommend. Later Creator (formerly Mavely) takes anyone, ShopMy and LTK screen applicants and hold brand deals, Amazon covers almost every product. Here is what each one pays, how fast, and who owns the link.

The best apps for influencers to make money from product sales in the US are Later Creator (the app formerly called Mavely) if you want to start with no follower minimum, ShopMy or LTK if you can pass an application and want brand deals on top of commission, and Amazon if your picks are mostly things people already buy there. None of them is best on every measure. They differ on what share of the commission you keep, how long the money takes to arrive, and who owns the link sitting in your bio.

We read each company's own help center, terms or program pages between 7 and 9 October 2026. Where a figure is not published by the company, we say so. Most lists ranking for this search are written by brand-deal marketplaces and skip payout terms entirely, which is the part that decides what you actually take home.

Which apps pay influencers for product sales?

These are the apps that pay you a commission when someone buys through your link, as opposed to apps that pay a flat fee for a sponsored post. The table compares them on the five things that change your income.

The last column is the one most comparisons leave out. On every network in the table, the link in your caption points at the network, the brand relationship belongs to the network, and the balance sits in an account the network can close. That is a fair trade for a new creator. It becomes a risk once one app holds most of your income.

What is the best app for a new influencer with a small following?

Later Creator is the easiest start for a new influencer, because it has no follower minimum and no application judged on audience size. You sign up, connect the social account you post from, pass a compliance review that takes 1 to 3 business days, and can share links the same week. Benable is the other low-friction option if someone can invite you.

Linktree Shops also has no follower minimum for US creators, and it lives inside a link page you may already use. Walmart Creator is not a beginner app despite its reputation: its terms ask for 1,000 followers across your connected accounts. ShopMy says it generally looks for at least 1,000 engaged followers on a public account and lets you reapply after 90 days if you are declined.

One thing worth knowing before you choose Later Creator: its help center says every account is reviewed again before its first payout, and that an account removed for breaking a brand's rules has all unpaid commission reversed. That is rare if you follow each brand card. Our Mavely review covers what triggers a removal and the Entrepreneur Account schedule that pays some high-volume creators 120 days late.

Which influencer app pays the most?

No single app pays the most, because brands set the commission rate, not the app. The same retailer can pay a similar percentage on ShopMy, LTK and Later Creator. What changes between apps is how much of that rate reaches you, whether there is a bonus on top, and whether the app carries the brands your audience actually buys.

ShopMy states it keeps 18% of commission and that the rate you see already reflects the split, so nothing else comes off. Later Creator shows the full brand rate and earns on the brand side instead, and it adds a monthly bonus: $30 once you earn $125 in commission in a calendar month, $100 at $425, $500 at $2,000, with higher tiers above that. On Linktree Shops the platform's share is inside the catalog rate unless you pay for Premium.

The largest rates in creator commerce usually sit outside these apps entirely. Software and AI tools commonly run their own affiliate programs at 20% to 30% of every monthly payment for as long as the customer stays. A tech or productivity creator who recommends software earns more from one direct program than from a retail network, and those programs are joined one by one. Our list of affiliate marketing programs covers the ones that accept creators.

Which apps pay influencers the fastest?

ShopMy looks fastest because it pays every Friday, but commission stays pending for 30 to 120 days first while the retailer closes its return window. Later Creator pays on the 1st and 15th for cycles that closed about 30 days earlier, so a sale reaches you in roughly six to eight weeks. Amazon pays about 60 days after the end of the month in which the sale was earned.

Measured from the day of the sale, the gap between the apps is smaller than their payout calendars suggest. We worked through the clearing clock in detail in which of Mavely, ShopMy and LTK pays fastest. Whatever you choose, keep the first two months of income out of your budget, because returns and reversals arrive in that window.

Are apps that pay influencers legit?

Every app in the table is a real company that pays creators on a published schedule. The complaints you see in app store and review site comments are almost always about one of three things: commission that is still pending, an order the brand reversed after a return, or an account the network closed. Those are features of how affiliate networks work, not signs of a fake service.

What differs is how much each company tells you in advance. ShopMy and Later Creator both publish payout minimums, pending windows and reversal rules in public help centers. LTK publishes its typical rate range but not a payout day or minimum. Benable's terms reserve the right to charge later and to void unredeemed rewards. Read the rules before you move years of links onto any of them. We cover each one in our ShopMy review and Benable review, and ShopMy vs LTK sets the two screened networks side by side.

How many apps should an influencer use?

Two or three is the practical answer for most creators. One retail network gives you breadth across thousands of brands from a single application. Direct programs cover the handful of brands and software tools that earn most of your money, at the full rate with nobody in between. And one page you control holds all of it together, so your bio link keeps working whichever network you use next year.

More apps means more payout schedules, more minimums to clear and more deposits to match. Once you are paid by four or five companies on different calendars, it is worth using software that matches payouts to your bank deposits so a reversed order or a skipped pay date does not go unnoticed. Splitting income across too many networks also keeps each balance below its minimum longer, which delays every payment.

Where a storefront on your own domain fits

Favly is not another network, and it does not hand you a brand catalog. It is a storefront where you group the products, gear and software you recommend into collections, attach the affiliate link from whichever program you joined, and publish it at favly.com/@you or on your own domain. Each program pays you directly, Favly takes no fee on commission, and imported commission reports show which link earned.

That is worth paying for once your recommendations earn steadily and span several programs. Favly Pro costs $288 a year, or $49 billed monthly, and includes a custom domain. If you are making your first sales, start with a free network and come back later. If you already earn and want your best links in your own name, an affiliate storefront for creators shows how the collections work, and you can build a demo storefront before you pay anything.

Which app should you pick?

  • Later Creator if you are starting out, share everyday retail finds and want to earn from your first post.
  • ShopMy if you can pass its application and want gifting and paid brand opportunities alongside a published 82/18 split.
  • LTK if fashion and home are your niche and you want its shopper app audience. US creators face no published follower minimum.
  • Amazon if your recommendations are things people already buy there, from desk gear to kitchen tools.
  • A Favly storefront if your picks span Amazon, brand programs and software that pays monthly, and you want them on a domain you own with earnings shown per link.

Whichever you choose, keep a list of your top 20 earning links outside the app. It is the one record that lets you move without starting over.
