Komi pricing and Komi Pro cost for creators who mostly earn from affiliate links

Komi Starter is free and Komi Pro is $20 a month, or $16 a month billed yearly. The upgrade is built around selling your own digital products. Here is what it is worth to a creator whose income is affiliate commission, with the arithmetic.

Komi pricing has two plans. Starter is free. Pro is $20 a month, or $16 a month billed yearly, which comes to $192 a year. We read komi.io/pricing on 14 October 2026, and every Komi figure on this page comes from there. Pro's headline benefit is a 0% fee on digital product sales, plus email campaigns, a custom domain and branding removal. If your income is commission on products you recommend rather than products you sell, most of what Pro charges for does not touch your money.

That is not a knock on Komi. It is a well built mini-site for musicians, athletes and creators who sell their own things. It just means the right question before upgrading is not "is Pro good" but "which of my income lines does Pro actually change".

How much does Komi cost per month?

Komi costs $0 on Starter and $20 a month on Pro if you pay monthly. Paying yearly drops Pro to $16 a month, a 20% saving, billed as $192 once a year. Komi's FAQ says paid plans can be cancelled at any time with no minimum contract. Some comparison posts still quote an older Creator plan at $14 a month or $10.50 billed yearly, so check the date on any review you read.

Is Komi free to use?

Yes. The Starter plan is free and it is not a stripped down trial. It gives you a mini-site with unlimited affiliate links, video and audio blocks, events, fan contact capture and analytics, and access to Komi's brand deals. What it does not include is selling your own digital products: Komi's plan comparison marks that as a Pro feature. For a creator who only posts affiliate links, Starter already covers the job of a link page.

What does Komi Pro actually buy you?

Five things, and they are worth very different amounts depending on how you earn.

  1. A 0% fee on digital product sales. Worth real money if you sell presets, guides or courses. Worth nothing if you do not.
  2. Unlimited email campaigns. Starter collects fan contacts but cannot send to them. If you plan to email your list from Komi, this is the strongest reason to upgrade.
  3. A custom domain. Valuable for anyone. It keeps the link in your bios on an address you own.
  4. Branding removal and Meta Pixel. Cosmetic for most creators, useful if you run ads to your page.
  5. Priority support. Starter gets basic support.

Does Komi take a cut of affiliate sales?

No, and neither does any other link page. This is the fact most pricing comparisons skip. An affiliate commission is calculated by the merchant's program, Amazon, a brand or a software company, and paid by that program straight to you. The money never passes through Komi's checkout, so there is nothing for a Komi fee to apply to, on Starter or on Pro. A 0% fee and a 10% fee on product sales are the same number to a creator who sells no products.

Run that through the arithmetic. A creator earning $500 a month in affiliate commission who upgrades to Komi Pro for the 0% fee saves exactly $0 on that $500 and pays $192 a year for the plan. The upgrade can still be worth it for email or the domain. It is not worth it for the fee.

When Komi Pro pays for itself

Pro is good value in three situations, and it helps to be honest about whether you are in one of them.

  • You sell your own digital products. Pro is the only way to sell them on Komi, and with no Komi fee on those sales, $192 a year is covered by a handful of $20 products.
  • You email your fans. If you would otherwise pay a separate email tool, Pro folds that cost in.
  • You want your own domain on a free style page. $16 a month for a branded link page with email is a fair price.

It is poor value when your income is affiliate commission and nothing else. In that case Starter does everything Pro would, and the money you are not seeing is not a fee problem. It is a reporting problem.

The cost Komi pricing does not show

An affiliate creator's real cost is not knowing which recommendation earned. Komi shows clicks and page analytics. Your commission sits in a separate dashboard for every program you belong to, Amazon Associates, a camera retailer, three software partners, each with its own report and its own payout date. Komi's pricing page does not list importing those reports or matching commission to a link, on either plan.

So you end up promoting the links people click most, which are often not the links that pay most. A $12 accessory gets the taps. A $30 a month AI tool on a 30% recurring program quietly earns $9 a month per customer for as long as they stay, about $108 a year each, and it sits halfway down the page because nobody can see that. Creators who juggle payouts from several programs and tools often end up using reconciliation software that matches payouts to bank deposits just to know what actually arrived. The storefront should answer the earlier question, which link produced the money.

Komi Pro or an affiliate storefront, the break-even

Favly Pro is $288 a year ($24 a month billed yearly, or $49 monthly), $96 a year more than Komi Pro billed yearly. It does a different job: it attaches commission programs to the products and tools you recommend, imports each program's commission report and matches rows to the link that earned them, prioritizes recurring SaaS and AI programs, and takes no fee on affiliate income. It has no product checkout, so it is not a home for digital products.

The extra $96 over Komi Pro is covered the moment reporting changes one decision. One retained software referral at $9 a month covers it within a year. If seeing commission per link would not change what you recommend, it is not worth paying for, and Komi Starter is the honest answer.

Is Komi worth it compared with Linktree and Stan Store?

For product sellers, Komi Pro at $16 a month billed yearly undercuts Stan Store's $29 a month Creator plan and adds email campaigns, though Stan has a deeper course and booking toolkit. Against Linktree, Komi's free plan does more out of the box. For affiliate creators, the comparison between any of these is mostly about templates, because none of them reports commission per link.

Where to go from here

If you have decided your income is mostly commission, our Komi alternative page sets Komi Pro against Favly Pro line by line, including where Komi wins. To see how a commission-first page works, read about the affiliate storefront. If you are still comparing link pages by fees, creator monetization platform fees compared works the same arithmetic across the whole category, and Stan Store pricing covers the most common paid rival plan by plan.
