WHAT IS THE PAIN YOUR COMPANY IS FACING RIGHT NOW And would having your own Construction Consultants help you ease that Pain? "A nationwide survey released this week by Autodesk and the Associated General Contractors of America shows the scope of the problem. Some 80 percent of construction companies say they're having a hard time filling hourly craft positions. Those include bricklayers, installers, pipe layers and carpenters. And more than half of companies are having trouble filling salaried positions, like project managers, engineers and architects." and ABC News reported it is going to get worse in the next year - ABC News August 31, 2018 I am here to help, with our Nation Wide Resources and Total Labor Support Solutions. Hand and finger injuries send more than one million workers to the emergency room each year. Tradesmen’s goal? Eliminate cuts or lacerations, severe abrasions, punctures, chemical burns, thermal burns and all other very painful hand injuries by convincing our employees to: ...Always wear your gloves: When on a jobsite, constantly wear properly fitting gloves. The few times you shouldn’t wear gloves is when using rotating power equipment such as a table saw, a router and other spinning equipment that can cause snags. ...Always choose appropriate hand protection: Gloves are designed for every application. There are insulated gloves to protect from extreme heat or cold. There are various polymer gloves to protect from chemicals. And, there are gloves made of leather, canvas, synthetics and other materials that protect from cuts and punctures. ...Always remind each other to wear gloves: Safety is Our #1 Core Value. Let's All Get Home Safe Today! The dynamics of a job site are ever-changing and the ability to identify hazards and potential hazards is crucial – for your safety and that of your co-workers. By taking time to assess the job site, or the task at hand, you can identify, evaluate and control what might cause harm. • Identify hazards • Evaluate hazards • Control hazards Conditions on a construction site can change very rapidly. Hazard identification must be an ongoing process. Safety has been Tradesmen International’s #1 Core Value since our inception in 1992. While we’re proud to provide all our employees OSHA Training, Tool-Box Talks as well as On-going Safety Communication and Education, we believe that each individual must personally emphasize safe behavior at home, on the road, the jobsite and at all times to ensure their safety and the safety of all those around them. I asked one of our newer Carpenters, referred to us by a local Client General Contractor, what he values the most about working with us or any site he goes to, and he indicated that the financial well being of his young family was his first thought, however, for himself, the most important thing is working in an environment where everyone is treated with respect. I just want to thank all our clients, and the Tradesman way of doing things, for providing Safe and Professional Work Environments for these Workers, who really give their all to make this happen for us Thank you Everybody! Have a Great Weekend. Re-post. My first Manager in Construction Skilled Trades Staffing always talked about how easily you can take an employee with a spark and fan a fire or douse it out as their boss. He more often spoke of the value of the worker was who was out digging ditches for me that day, that he was actually my Boss, because he was the one earning the money to put the food on my table. I hope I always keep this view of the guys and gals I get to work for #skilledtrades #spark

Safe Attitudes I Hope We All Get Home Safe Everyday – So I’m doing a Safety Self-Analysis Did you know unsafe acts cause four times as many incidents and injuries as unsafe conditions? Why? Simple, the safety attitudes, beliefs and behaviors each of us brings to the work site can either positively impact safety or lead to negative outcomes. It’s your choice! Daily, decisions are made on the work site that impact safety. How does your safety attitude and beliefs determine what you would do? • You’re several feet off the ground. Do you jump down to the ground or use a ladder? • You’re on a roof, wearing a harness. Do you clip in before you unclip every time? • You’re on a 12 foot ladder and have one last hole to drill. Do you move the ladder or overreach? Each of us knows the proper way of doing a task, yet each of these scenarios played out in 2017. The employees chose the unsafe act and unfortunately were injured as a result of their decision. Maybe it’s time to do a Safety Analysis -

Skilled Workers & Construction Managers Come Together Construction managers are constantly looking for skilled labor professionals to add to their construction project team. Finding qualified skilled workers is clearly challenging. Many jobs remain vacant for weeks resulting in construction project delays. The amount of time it takes to screen candidates and check to make sure training and certifications are up-to date puts a tremendous strain on construction managers. Plus, all of the paperwork involved with payroll and benefits slows down the hiring process, taking away precious building time. But thanks to construction staffing companies, like Tradesmen International, project managers have access to hundreds of qualified, pre-screened skilled workers, ready to start work the moment you call. Skilled workers can take advantage of opportunities by joining a construction staffing agency. Joining Tradesmen’s skilled labor workforce offers many advantages including: Immediate work and
