Who We Are

At Green Goddess Gardens, we combine Organic and Western gardening methods to efficiently create and maintain a beautiful and healthy environment. Our drought tolerant landscape services are ideally suited to the Ventura and Santa Barbara counties and cities we serve including Ojai, Ventura, Santa Paula, and Oxnard. We are a design, installation and maintenance landscape contracting firm in Ojai specializing in low water, low maintenance, and fragrant gardens in Southern California.

Planting trees will shade the ground keeping it cooler. It can reduce temps up to 10* If everyone planted one tree Ojai would be forested by 30,000 more trees! Woody plants capture carbon from the air and return it into the ground where it belongs -this is the only way it can happen!

We are mixing compost tea and super seaweed in our sprayer and washing all the landscapes down after the fire. This combo is perfect to combine with the ash and will energize the soil biology while the weather is cool! How cool is that??

Happy Friday everyone! The weekend is coming and no better time than to go to your local nursery and buy a tree to plant we just had a boatload of carbon released into our atmosphere and trees capture that carbon and put it back into the ground They also create shade and protection from the sun to are very dry earth did you know that the temperature difference can be up to 10° underneath foliage them shade cloth or structures?

Rain is hopefully coming next week! If you can create swales along the contour if your yard where water runs off, you can slow it down enough to allow it to seep into your dryyyyy soil. Keep your run off to yourself!!
